Well, there was this one time when a childhood friend of mine contacted me and said that another close friend of ours, who had moved to Norway, was coming back, and that we should have a get-together, you know, throw him a party.
有一次，我的一位发小联系我，说我们另一个搬去挪威的好朋友要回国了，我们应该聚一聚，给他办个欢迎派对。
So he set up a WeChat group, added all of us, and suggested that we each bring something special to share, preferably something homemade. And that was how it all started. He also found a venue for all of us.
于是他建了一个微信群，把我们都拉了进去，还提议每个人带点特别的食物来分享，最好是自己做的。事情就是这样开始的。他还帮大家找好了聚会地点。
A few days later, we finally got together, and one of the guys brought a special kind of drink. He told me it wasn't actually yogurt. Meanwhile, our friend who had returned from Norway had learned to speak Norwegian, and I was really happy for him.
几天后，我们终于聚到一起。有个朋友带来一种特别的饮品，他告诉我那其实不是酸奶。与此同时，从挪威回来的朋友居然已经学会说挪威语了，我真为他高兴。
The atmosphere was really nice and cozy, and it just felt like we were back in our childhood days.

Later on, I tried that yogurt-like drink, and it left a deep impression on me. It was tangy and slightly sour, but it still had this really creamy texture. I asked my friend how to make it, and he explained the process to me.
后来我尝了那种有点像酸奶的饮品，印象非常深刻。它的味道酸酸的，很有特点，但口感又十分顺滑、浓郁。我问朋友怎么做，他就向我解释了制作过程。
So I came away from that party not only with some wonderful memories of the old days, but also with a new recipe for making a drink I'd never tried before.

It was quite a different experience for me, and I felt like that was exactly the kind of party I really enjoyed. Not only did I get to learn something new, but I also got to catch up with my old friends and have some really meaningful conversations.
